"A Delicious street food with succulent skewer roasted Chicken kabab, sliced onions and green chutney wrapped in a parota."
So finally a recipe after a big big gap. Posting a recipe after more than a month. Rejoined Insta after a break of 3 weeks, I spent my extra time with books and podcasts. I was reluctant to join back. I somehow got used with the new routine with books and podcasts . But I missed my Insta friends too. Now using Insta but with limited usage (hope so). In Sha Allah planning to post more recipes in a week.
Kati Roll is a street food originating from Kolkata in West Bengal. These are available in most restaurants and street food stalls with varieties of filling . The chicken pieces are marinated with various spices, curd, oil and grilled. The chicken can also be replaced with paneer if you are looking for a vegetarian version. You can marinate the chicken pieces ahead and store it in freezer which can be defrosted and grilled for kati rolls when needed. This is an easy recipe which is a great lunch box idea where the chicken can be marinated a day head and kept in refrigerator.e as tiffin
I usually prefer using half cooked Parotas which is easily available in most groceries. The store bought Parotas can be replaced with chapathis made with all purpose flour. So once u have the marinated chicken ready, Kathi roll will be ready within 10 minutes. You can find the recipe for green chutney posted in with my Bun Kabab Recipe
